4 – How long does drying take?
Drying times vary greatly and mainly depend on the thickness of the products in question.
A thin slice of mushroom will take just a few hours, whereas half a tomato will obviously take much longer.
As a general rule, consider about 3-4 hours for every millimetre of thickness.
